I was retuckpointing and these bags were very strong. My flaw was since I had never tuckpointed or used bags like this, I mixed the mortar too thick, so it was my fault totally and the mortar did not come out of the end through the metal tip. If I had mixed the mortar to the right consistency I would say these bags would perform wonderfully. I would have liked a large cup like vessel that I could have folded the bag over while I was filling the bag with mortar. It was awkward for my little old grandma hands to hold the bag and fill with mortar at the same time; but when I had the right consistency with the mortar and got the bag filled, the bag was incredibly strong and worked well
