Does take a while to heat . I had to reseal more than once .Works pretty well. Tends to shrink the bag. Bought for sealing my waterproof remote bags. Worked on a few chip bags, but didn't work of a protein bar or two.Does not work on paper, tried it on m&ms bag, didn't work.gets too hot, can't control the temperatureI was hesitant to buy this but loved the concept . . . . it is wonderful! Plug it in/switch it on, wait a minute or so and it's ready to go. Seals airtight. These will be stocking stuffers this Christmas!This bag sealer is awesome. It heats really fast. Just have to be careful with certain material like Cellophane because it can burn and distort the bag. Do a heat test first.Seals great! Just the right size!Its nice and easyI purchased this to seal bags that I sell products in. The bags are basic sandwich bags - not thin cellophane. At first, I was unsure that the correct product was sent to me because the label said "Beauty" on it and it does resemble a tiny hair straightener. However, on the back of the label, it gives instructions for use. I followed the instructions and as you can see in the second photo, the results were not ideal. Sure it will seal it. But it will be a mangled mess. This was after several attempts varying the times. It's just not going to give you the results you are looking for and I am going to attempt to return it.This is sealer is so amazing! Started with the little battery operated ones, then saw this. Heats up quickly, very easy for arthritic hands. Love it! No more Gobbling up batteries & makes a better seal.Super cute appearance, kind of like a mini hair straightener. Heats up quickly and easy to use. Only drawback is for really wide packaging - it’s difficult to get the full width of the seal because even if you go from either side, it may not reach the middle completely. Overall handy little tool that gets the job done ! My chips and snacks have never tasted fresher!This sealer keeps everything fresh - cereal, chips, frozen foods. It makes storing easier and limits having clips all around the house which only do half the job. I think everyone needs this in their householdeasy to use ，looks good， the color is same as picture， almost everything perfect，except one thing， the temperature hard to control， have to try many times to control ，too high makes bag ugly ， too low can not be seal！
