I did my research... dozens of brands and models in different prices, before getting these. If you do training, sparring and bag work, and are getting more serious about it... hitting harder, then good gloves are a must... I tried and looked for Rival and Gant sparring gloves... they are excellent... the Rival gloves that worked as good as these were about 40-50 dollars more expensive... sure they look pretty cool, but these gloves are the real deal also.BUILD QUALITY and PADDINGYou can SERIOUSLY DISH OUT YOUR BEST punch with all your power, and if your hands are properly wrapped, you won't feel pain at all... NOTHING. For protection these gloves get 10 out of 10 stars... the leather is supple and very well treated, stiches are CLEAN, velcro strap is long and wraps your wrist properly, the inside lining does a hell of a job at NOT STINKING and drying fast... quality of build is 9 out 10 stars.FIT and COMFORTThese gloves run a little big on the inside... I am 6'0 and my hand, yet not huge, are quite meaty... and these gloves feel a bit loose YOU HAVE TO tighten your grip a bit... if you have big hands or verty heavy wrapping they might be more snug... HOWEVER these are the most comfortable gloves I have tried bar none... the only thing I've seen better on another brand model is the THUMB design on rival's top of the line gloves, in which they are more fixed to the front part, but hey if you can't make a fist, why train? for comfort I give them a 9 out of 10.VALUERight now, other gloves as good as these cost more, simple as that... regardless of the brand... and as you might probably seen in 24/7 when you get people like Pacman and Mayweather training with these without them endorsing them, they must be good.ConclusionAfter getting these gloves, my power and technique have grown a lot... specially on the heavy bag, where I can now dish out all I got and not suffer any swealling or pain on my hand joints and knuckles. An excellent choice of gloves.I would actually give this glove 4 1/2 stars. I have used these gloves everyday since I have bought them (for bag and mitt work) 3 hour gym sessions, and so far:PRO*Larger fit - Easy to put gloves on, and easy to take off when hands are wrapped.*Light - Gloves do not feel top heavy, weight distributed well.*Wrist support - These gloves give great wrist support, the strap goes fully around the wrist, and the added padding created a great fit around your wrist.*Easy to make a fist - Not much effort required to make a fist, this reduces fatigue in your hands!*Padding - The padding on this glove is comfortable, reduces damage to your hands when making conatact.CONS*Mesh - The mesh is supposed to reduce sweating, but let's face it, a little bit of mesh isn't going to do anything, my hands still get sweaty and the gloves are still wet after training. Mesh is also easy to tear!*Strap - Although listed as a pro, the strap can be quite hard to put on sometimes, as it loops around your hand. Personally I have not had any major issues with this, but I can assume it could be annoying for others.*Stitching - Not too big of an issue, but some parts of the glove (Upper wrist area) don't look as though they have been stitched particularly well. No problems with this so far.*Logo - Really not a big issue at all, but the logo for my left hand glove was not printed in the centre of the glove, rather more to the left hand side.In conclusion, these gloves are excellent, they provide great protection for your hand and are made well. Only minor imperfections (in my opinion, don't really effect glove performance) are shown. I have used many other leading brands(reyes etc) and I can say these gloves are not far behind. All in all, the glove was worth the price, and I would reccomend it for anyone who is interested in buying it!I've been using these gloves for about 3 months now. They're a huge step up from my old pair of cheap Everlasts. The cuff is more comfortable, the padding feels softer (yet not inadequate), and it's easier to make a fist in these Tri-techs - It just feels good to put these gloves on.As a beginner at boxing for the second time, I remember how much it hurt my fists/knuckles to hit the bag with the Everlast gloves. It actually made me a little worried that I might have the same experience this time. The Tri-Techs almost feel like pillows in comparison.I only have two minor complaints about these gloves - the stitching and the hand compartment. After a few months of moderate use, I can see a few stitches starting to come loose. It hasn't affected anything yet, but it makes me slightly concerned as to how long they will last. Also, the hand compartment is large for me. To be fair though, I'm a smaller guy and someone with larger hands might feel right at home. Conclusion:Extremely comforable gloves, but watch out for the stitching and hand compartment size. Definitely recommendGlove is nice and supports wrist really well
