Would be nice if it actually helped to stay warm.I bought this bag for a September trip to Breckenridge. Temperatures will be below 50°f. Upon first opening the package, I was pleased to find that the bag was lightweight, and has an exquisite texture. I love the features, such as the zippers, the drawstring closure for around your face and the little velcro pocket inside.. However, I tested this bag in my house with the a/c turned down to 65° and my feet were still cold. I then noticed that the insulation is thick in some places and nonexistant in others. To be clear: there are multiple spots where there is no insulation whatsoever. I should have read more reviews before purchasing. This bag is so expensive for what you get. I have a $25 bag that I'll be bringing instead. My dog likes it though! I have also included a picture of this bag against the light. The dark patches are where the insulation is.This is a comfortable and lightweight sleeping bag, however I question the temperature rating. If you are sleeping on the ground, without an insulating sleeping pad, this will not keep you warm in even 40 degree temperatures. Over a two day ascent on Mt. Whitney in August, the night temperatures hovered in the high 40's but I was cold in this sleeping bag both nights. Sometimes bags are rated to men's temperatures, so perhaps a man would have been comfortable, but I felt the cold through my bag, both under me and along the tent sides. This would be a good bag for warmer weather. When the bag first arrived, it felt ok. It's really probably a 50F bag. But, after a 9-day hiking trip in New Mexico (plenty warm), I realized the quality was even worse than I thought. Many sections of this bag have no discernible fill whatsoever. The whole middle section is near empty - leaving just 2 layers of nylon between the ground and my body.Holding up a flashlight shows huge sections that are now void of fill (see pictures). There is no way this bag would keep you alive at 32°F.A few weeks after the hiking trip, I used this to sleep in a hammock at 60°F. I spent most of the night awake feeling the cold through the bag. That's when I figured out there was no padding throughout most of the bag. It was a cold night - even at 60F.I thought it was a 3 Pack value it’s only one sleeping bag, I did not want to pay over 100$ for a slo bag, the bag did not look durable If in a washing machine washing it can be torn or ripped easily don’t waste your money
