This little vacuum sealer works so well, it might be my new favorite kitchen gadget!! We have been using reusable, sealable plastic kitchen bags for over a year now and the first set we got came with a little hand pump. It works great and it's not hard to use, but then we got a jar vacuum sealer that came with an attachment for sealing plastic bags like these and that was nice, too, because we didn't have to use the hand pump. BUT it was always a little awkward to use because you had to use the whole jar sealing mechanism... ANYWAY, I saw this one and decided that since we use our bags so much it would be worth a try. Well, I am so glad we decided to give it a shot because it works great!!!It is super lightweight and easy to use. The size is perfect for holding in one hand while holding the bag in place on the counter with the other hand. You just turn on the power button, place it over the seal and let it do it's thing. Once all the air has been pulled out of the bags, it automatically turns off so you don't even really have to think about what you're doing.It is easy to wipe clean, easily stores away in a drawer, holds its charge for a long time. In fact, we've had ours for a few weeks already and have only given it an initial charging when we got it and haven't had to recharge it yet, despite using it multiple times a week. Overall, it does exactly what it says, is is simple, easy to use and well made. Love it!
